Description
A vulnerability has been found in Jane-xiaoer skill-vision-control up to 1.3.0. This vulnerability affects the function getSkillVersionsDir of the file src/svc/utils/config.ts. Such manipulation of the argument skillName leads to path traversal. The attack can only be performed from a local environment. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A path traversal vulnerability has been identified in the Jane-xiaoer skill-vision-control package, specifically in versions up to 1.3.0. The issue arises in the 'getSkillVersionsDir' function within 'src/svc/utils/config.ts', where the 'skillName' argument is not properly validated. This lack of validation allows for manipulation of the 'skillName' to traverse directories, potentially leading to unauthorized access or modification of files. The vulnerability can only be exploited in a local environment.
Users are advised to update to version 1.3.0 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
