CVE-2026-1856 Details
Description
The Appointment Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via custom booking field labels in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Creavi Appointment Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.4.4. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts into custom booking field labels. These scripts are executed when a user accesses the affected page.
Users are advised to update the Creavi Appointment Booking Calendar plugin to version 1.4.5 or later, where this vulnerability has been patched.
