Description
Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') vulnerability in Link Library allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This issue affects Link Library: before 7.9.4.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WordPress plugin Link Library, affecting versions prior to 7.9.4. The issue arises because the 'thumbs_rating_add_vote' AJAX handler processes the 'likelabel' parameter without proper sanitization, echoing it back in an HTML response, which can be exploited to inject malicious scripts.
Users are advised to upgrade to Link Library version 7.9.4 or later.
