Description
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability exists in Google Chrome DevTools, prior to version 151.0.7922.72, due to inadequate validation of untrusted input. This flaw could enable a remote attacker, who has compromised the renderer process, to potentially escape the sandbox by using a specially crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 151.0.7922.72 or later to address this vulnerability.
