Description
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in WebView in Google Chrome on Android prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in the WebView component of Google Chrome on Android, in versions prior to 151.0.7922.72, allowed remote attackers to leak cross-origin data. This was achieved through insufficient validation of untrusted input, enabling the attacker to craft an HTML page that, once loaded, could extract sensitive information from other origins.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 151.0.7922.72 or later to address this vulnerability.
