Race in Downloads in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A race condition vulnerability has been identified in the Downloads component of Google Chrome on Mac, affecting versions prior to 151.0.7922.72. This vulnerability allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially escape the sandbox by using a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 151.0.7922.72 or later to address this vulnerability.
