Description
The Payment forms, Buy now buttons, and Invoicing System | GetPaid plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.56 via the getpaid_payment_form_element function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included.
A local file inclusion vulnerability has been identified in the Payment Forms, Buy Now Buttons, and Invoicing System | GetPaid plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 2.8.56. The vulnerability arises in the 'getpaid_payment_form_element' function, where authenticated attackers with administrator-level access can exploit the inclusion and execution of arbitrary PHP files on the server. This exploitation could lead to bypassing access controls, accessing sensitive data, or executing code in scenarios where PHP files can be uploaded and included.
Users are advised to update the plugin to version 2.8.57 or a newer patched version.
