Description
Improper access control in the role membership management endpoint in Devolutions Server allows an authenticated non-administrative user holding the user-group membership management permission to escalate privileges to administrator via a crafted API request. This issue affects : * Devolutions Server 2026.2.4.0 through 2026.2.12.0 * Devolutions Server 2026.1.23.0 and earlier
A vulnerability in Devolutions Server's role membership management endpoint allows authenticated non-administrative users with user-group membership management permissions to escalate privileges to administrator. This is achieved through a crafted API request. The issue affects Devolutions Server versions 2026.2.4.0 through 2026.2.12.0, as well as version 2026.1.23.0 and earlier.
Users are advised to upgrade to Devolutions Server version 2026.1.24.0 or 2026.2.14.0 or higher.
