CVE-2026-16966 Details
Description
The Solace Extra WordPress plugin before 1.7.0 does not perform any authorization or post-status checks in one of its AJAX actions, allowing unauthenticated visitors to read the content of non-published (draft, pending, private, and trashed) Site Builder parts that WordPress would otherwise not serve.
A vulnerability exists in the Solace Extra WordPress plugin in versions prior to 1.7.0. The issue arises because the plugin's AJAX action 'get_elementor_content' does not implement proper authorization or post-status checks. This oversight allows unauthenticated users to access and read non-published Site Builder content, including drafts, pending items, private posts, and trashed elements, which WordPress typically restricts access to.
Users are advised to update the Solace Extra WordPress plugin to version 1.7.0 or later.
