Description
A security vulnerability has been detected in syncfusion ej2-javascript-ui-controls up to 33.2.3. This affects the function child_process.exec of the file package.json. The manipulation leads to os command injection. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used.
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in Syncfusion EJ2 JavaScript UI Controls, affecting versions prior to 33.2.3. The issue arises in the 'syncfusion-license validate' command, which improperly handles package names from 'package.json'. This flaw allows for the execution of arbitrary OS commands. The vulnerability must be exploited locally.
Users are advised to upgrade to Syncfusion EJ2 JavaScript UI Controls version 34.1.29 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
