Description
Denial-of-Service in Thinkst Applied Research OpenCanary (MongoDB module) allows Excessive Allocation. This issue affects OpenCanary 0.9.8 only.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in the MongoDB module of Thinkst Applied Research OpenCanary version 0.9.8. This issue allows for excessive resource allocation, causing the Twisted process to use all available CPU time on its core.
Users can upgrade to OpenCanary version 0.9.9, where this issue is patched. Alternatively, the MongoDB module can be disabled by setting 'mongodb.enabled' to false in the 'opencanary.conf' file.
