Description
The Ajax Search Lite WordPress plugin before 4.14.5 does not prevent the deserialization of untrusted input, allowing unauthenticated attackers to perform PHP Object Injection. When a suitable POP chain is present via another installed Ajax Search Lite WordPress plugin before 4.14.5 or , this can be leveraged to achieve Remote Code Execution.
A vulnerability allowing unauthenticated PHP Object Injection has been identified in the Ajax Search Lite WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 4.14.5. The issue arises because the plugin does not adequately sanitize input before deserialization, enabling PHP Object Injection. This vulnerability can be exploited to achieve Remote Code Execution if a suitable Property-Oriented Programming chain is available through another installed plugin or theme.
Users are advised to update the Ajax Search Lite WordPress plugin to version 4.14.5 or later.
