Description
In Eclipse OMR versions up to 0.11, the arraycmp SIMD implementation for Z and P does not check if the number of bytes to compare is zero.
A vulnerability exists in Eclipse OMR versions prior to 0.11 in the array comparison SIMD implementation for Z and P architectures. The issue arises because the implementation does not verify whether the number of bytes to compare is zero, potentially leading to unintended behavior.
Users can update to Eclipse OMR version 0.11 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
