Description
A vulnerability exists in the Health & Safety (HS) application of NASA's Core Flight System (cFS). The flaw allows the application to crash via segmentation fault when processing a routine Housekeeping Telemetry request, leading to denial of service.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in the Health & Safety (HS) application of NASA's Core Flight System (cFS) version prior to 7.0.1. The issue arises from a null pointer dereference, causing the application to crash with a segmentation fault when handling a routine Housekeeping Telemetry request.
Users are advised to update to version 7.0.1 of the NASA Core Flight System Health & Safety application.
