A security flaw has been discovered in Sipeed PicoClaw up to 0.2.9. Affected by this vulnerability is the function WebFetchTool.Execute of the file pkg/tools/integration/web.go of the component Guarded Web Fetch Flow. The manipulation results in server-side request forgery. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in Sipeed PicoClaw versions through 0.2.9. The issue arises in the 'WebFetchTool.Execute' function within 'pkg/tools/integration/web.go', part of the Guarded Web Fetch Flow component. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to manipulate the tool into accessing internal or loopback-only HTTP resources, bypassing the application's intended protections against such requests. The exploitation takes advantage of environment-configured HTTP proxy settings, creating a trust gap that can be used to retrieve sensitive internal content through the proxy.
