Description
IBM WebSphere Application Server - Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.8 is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery which could allow an attacker to perform SSRF attacks with elevated privileges when the collectiveController-1.0 feature is enabled.
A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty versions 17.0.0.3 prior to 26.0.0.8. This vulnerability allows an attacker to perform server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks with elevated privileges, but only when the collectiveController-1.0 feature is enabled.
Users are advised to upgrade to IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Fix Pack 26.0.0.9 or later, or to apply the interim fix available for versions 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.8 that addresses this vulnerability. Additional interim fixes may also be available.
