CVE-2026-14839 Details
Description
The Mapster WP Maps WordPress plugin before 1.24.0 does not perform any authorization or post-status check on a public REST endpoint, allowing unauthenticated users to retrieve the title and full content of any post regardless of its status, including unpublished (draft, pending, private, and trashed) posts.
A vulnerability exists in the Mapster WP Maps WordPress plugin in versions prior to 1.24.0. The issue arises because the plugin's public REST endpoint does not implement any authorization or post-status checks. This oversight allows unauthenticated users to access the title and full content of any post, regardless of its status, including unpublished posts such as drafts, pending, private, and trashed items.
Users are advised to update the Mapster WP Maps WordPress plugin to version 1.24.0 or later.
