Description
Out of bounds read in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.46 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted Chrome Extension. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability allowing an out-of-bounds read in the V8 JavaScript engine has been identified in Google Chrome versions prior to 150.0.7871.46. This issue could enable an attacker, who convinces a user to install a malicious extension, to access potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted Chrome Extension.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 150.0.7871.46 or later to address this vulnerability.
