Description
The FacturaONE para WooCommerce con VeriFactu WordPress plugin before 5.37 does not authenticate one of its request handlers, whose only protection is derived from a cryptographic key that is empty in the default, unconfigured state, allowing unauthenticated attackers to write an arbitrary file into a web-accessible directory and achieve remote code execution.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the FacturaONE para WooCommerce con VeriFactu WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 5.37. The vulnerability arises because the plugin does not properly authenticate one of its request handlers. This handler's only form of protection comes from a cryptographic key, which is empty by default. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw to write arbitrary files into a web-accessible directory, leading to remote code execution. Additionally, the same handler can be misused to perform server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks or to redirect visitors to external URLs.
Users are advised to update to FacturaONE for WooCommerce version 5.37 or later.
