Description
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in HTML in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker to inject arbitrary scripts or HTML (UXSS) via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome's HTML Sanitizer API prior to version 150.0.7871.47 allows remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary scripts in a user's browser. This issue arises from insufficient validation of untrusted input when using streaming HTML setters, which can be exploited to bypass the API's safe-mode protections and execute injected scripts as JavaScript.
Users should update to Google Chrome version 150.0.7871.47 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
