Description
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Settings in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability allowing a potential sandbox escape has been identified in Google Chrome on Windows, in versions prior to 150.0.7871.47. This issue arises from insufficient validation of untrusted input in the Settings, which could enable a remote attacker, having compromised the renderer process, to exploit the vulnerability through a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 150.0.7871.47 or later to address this vulnerability.
