Description
The Participants Database WordPress plugin before 2.7.8.4 does not properly sanitize and escape a user-supplied parameter before using it in a SQL query, allowing unauthenticated attackers to perform SQL injection attacks.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the Participants Database WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 2.7.8.4. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied parameters before incorporating them into SQL queries. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to execute SQL injection attacks.
Users are advised to update the Participants Database WordPress plugin to version 2.7.8.4 or later.
