CVE-2026-13462 Details
Description
PayRange Android app, version 7.0.7 and below, contains an SSL bypass vulnerability that allows invalid certificates to be accepted in application webviews. A remote and unauthenticated attacker can steal information that the user sends.
A vulnerability exists in the PayRange Android app, specifically in version 7.0.7 and earlier, that allows invalid SSL certificates to be accepted in application WebViews. This SSL bypass vulnerability enables remote, unauthenticated attackers to intercept and steal information that users send through the app. The issue arises because the app bypasses Android's SSL trust chain, accepting certificates that match certain criteria, including self-signed certificates. As a result, an attacker could manipulate traffic to their controlled device, inject content into the WebView, and access sensitive information, including interactions with PayRange and Stripe servers.
