Description
Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes vulnerability in Drupal Tealium iQ Tag Management allows Object Injection. This issue affects Tealium iQ Tag Management versions: from 0.0.0 to 2.4.0.
A critical vulnerability allowing PHP object injection has been identified in the Tealium iQ Tag Management module for Drupal. This issue affects versions prior to 2.4.0. The vulnerability arises because the module stores data as PHP-serialized strings, which can be manipulated and injected with malicious data. When this data is unserialized, it creates an object injection vulnerability. Exploitation requires permission to edit a content entity with an attached Tealium iQ field. Additionally, the core JSON:API module must be enabled with the option to accept all create, read, update, and delete operations, or the attacker must have another method to directly edit field values.
Users of the Tealium iQ Tag Management module should upgrade to version 8.x.2.4.
