Description
The Kirki WordPress plugin before 6.0.12 does not validate a user-supplied URL before requesting it server-side, allowing unauthenticated attackers to make the site issue HTTP requests to arbitrary hosts (Server-Side Request Forgery).
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Kirki WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 6.0.12. The vulnerability arises because the plugin does not validate user-supplied URLs before making server-side requests. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the site into sending HTTP requests to arbitrary hosts.
Users are advised to update the Kirki WordPress plugin to version 6.0.12 or later.
