CVE-2026-12901 Details
Description
The GetPaid WordPress plugin before 2.8.55 does not verify the authenticity of incoming Worldpay payment notifications, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a notification that marks a pending invoice as paid without any payment being made.
A vulnerability exists in the GetPaid WordPress plugin in versions prior to 2.8.55, where the plugin fails to authenticate incoming Worldpay payment notifications. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate notifications, falsely marking pending invoices as paid without any actual payment being processed. The vulnerability arises because the plugin does not verify the legitimacy of payment notifications, creating an opportunity for exploitation.
Users are advised to update the GetPaid WordPress plugin to version 2.8.55 or later.
