Description
The Spectra Gutenberg Blocks – Website Builder for the Block Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the `uagb/image` block in all versions up to, and including, 2.19.28 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Spectra Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 2.19.28. The issue arises in the 'uagb/image' block, where inadequate input sanitization and output escaping allow authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts execute when a user views the affected page.
Users can update to version 2.19.29 or a newer patched version to address this vulnerability.
