Description
Inappropriate implementation in Views in Google Chrome on Linux prior to 149.0.7827.155 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to inject arbitrary scripts or HTML (UXSS) via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome on Linux, in versions prior to 149.0.7827.155, allowed remote attackers to inject arbitrary scripts or HTML, leading to universal cross-site scripting (UXSS) attacks. This issue arose from an inappropriate implementation in the Views component, which could be exploited by a compromised renderer process via a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 149.0.7827.155 to address this vulnerability.
