Description
Use after free in Chromoting in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.155 allowed a local attacker to perform OS-level privilege escalation via a malicious file. (Chromium security severity: High)
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the Chromoting feature of Google Chrome on Windows, affecting versions prior to 149.0.7827.155. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to escalate privileges at the operating system level by using a malicious file.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 149.0.7827.155 or later to address this vulnerability.
