Description
A vulnerability in the Xerte Online Tools allows for RCE through the antivirus binary path in the tools server settings, which can be changed to a PHP interpreter, allowing an attacker to upload PHP data that will then be executed.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Xerte Online Tools. This issue arises from the ability to change the antivirus binary path in the server settings to point to a PHP interpreter. Consequently, an attacker could upload PHP data that would be executed on the server.
Users are advised to update to Xerte versions 3.14 or 3.15, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
