Description
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ("Cross-site Scripting") vulnerability in Drupal Tagify allows Stored XSS. This issue affects Tagify versions: from 0.0.0 to 1.2.52.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Drupal Tagify module, affecting versions prior to 1.2.52. This issue arises from improper sanitization of parent taxonomy term names, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the user's session. The vulnerability is particularly concerning because it requires a role with permission to create or edit taxonomy terms in a vocabulary.
Users of the Tagify module for Drupal should upgrade to version 1.2.52, which includes a fix for the sanitization issue. More information will be available in the project release notes once the fixed version is published.
