Description
Inappropriate implementation in Custom Tabs in Google Chrome on Android prior to 149.0.7827.53 allowed a local attacker to perform privilege escalation via a crafted XML file. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in the Custom Tabs feature of Google Chrome on Android, in versions prior to 149.0.7827.53, allowed local attackers to escalate privileges by using a specially crafted XML file. This issue was caused by inadequate validation of untrusted input.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 149.0.7827.53 or later to address this vulnerability.
