Description
Out of bounds read in ANGLE in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.53 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A medium-severity out-of-bounds read vulnerability has been identified in the ANGLE component of Google Chrome. This issue affects Windows versions prior to 149.0.7827.53. The vulnerability allows a remote attacker who has compromised the renderer process to access potentially sensitive information from process memory by exploiting a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 149.0.7827.53 or later to address this vulnerability.
