Description
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Codecs in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.53 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to leak cross-origin data via a crafted video file. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability in the Codecs component of Google Chrome, prior to version 149.0.7827.53, allowed remote attackers to leak cross-origin data. This was achieved by sending a specially crafted video file to a compromised renderer process.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 149.0.7827.53 or later to address this vulnerability.
