CVE-2026-10830 Details
Description
The AllCoach WordPress plugin before 1.0.2 does not verify that an email address submitted to a public account-registration endpoint is not already associated with an existing user before overwriting that user's password, allowing unauthenticated attackers to reset the password of arbitrary accounts, including administrators, and take over the site.
A vulnerability in the AllCoach WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 1.0.2, allows unauthenticated attackers to reset passwords of arbitrary users, including administrators. The issue arises because the plugin's public account-registration endpoint does not verify whether an email address is already associated with an existing user before overwriting that user's password. This flaw enables attackers to take over accounts and potentially compromise the entire site.
Users are advised to update the AllCoach WordPress plugin to version 1.0.2 or later.
