CVE-2026-10736 Details
Description
The Tutor LMS – eLearning and online course solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'data' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.9.11 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the Tutor LMS WordPress plugin, specifically in versions up to and including 3.9.11. The issue arises from inadequate escaping of user-supplied data in the 'data' parameter, allowing authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to inject additional SQL queries. This exploitation could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information within the database.
Users are advised to update the Tutor LMS WordPress plugin to version 3.9.12 or later, where this vulnerability has been patched.
