Description
Multiple Shapedsmart-post-show-pro WordPress plugin before 4.0.2, Real Testimonials Pro WordPress plugin before 3.2.5, Product Slider for WooCommerce Pro WordPress plugin before 3.5.3 Pro smart-post-show-pro WordPress plugin before 4.0.2, Real Testimonials Pro WordPress plugin before 3.2.5, Product Slider for WooCommerce Pro WordPress plugin before 3.5.3 were distributed with malicious code through the vendor's compromised update server, allowing unauthenticated attackers to deploy a second-stage payload that exfiltrates credentials and other sensitive data and grants full control of affected sites.
A backdoor vulnerability has been introduced in multiple ShapedPlugin Pro WordPress plugins, including Smart Post Show Pro, Real Testimonials Pro, and Product Slider for WooCommerce Pro, all prior to their respective latest versions. This vulnerability arose from the vendor's update server being compromised, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious code. The confirmed affected versions include Smart Post Show Pro 4.0.1, Product Slider for WooCommerce Pro 3.5.2, and Real Testimonials Pro 3.2.4. The malicious code exfiltrates credentials and sensitive data, granting full control over the affected WordPress sites.
Users can update to Smart Post Show Pro 4.0.2, Real Testimonials Pro 3.2.5, and Product Slider for WooCommerce Pro 3.5.3 to address this vulnerability.
