Description
A vulnerability was detected in decolua 9Router up to 0.5.55. The affected element is the function fetch of the file src/shared/utils/ssrfGuard.js of the component Search Endpoint. Performing a manipulation of the argument provider_options.baseUrl results in server-side request forgery. The attack can be initiated remotely. Applying a patch is the recommended action to fix this issue.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in Decolua 9Router versions through 0.5.55. The issue arises in the Search Endpoint, specifically within the fetch function of src/shared/utils/ssrfGuard.js. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to manipulate the provider_options.baseUrl argument, bypass the application's SSRF guard, and access internal networks or cloud metadata endpoints. This exploitation can lead to unauthorized access to local services and exfiltration of sensitive data, such as upstream search provider API keys.
Users are advised to update to Decolua 9Router version 0.5.91 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
