Description
A flaw has been found in gedelumbung HospitalManagement up to c2d45543789a3887067d3915f69d44cfc2cf76a8. The affected element is the function kirim of the file application/modules/web/controllers/buku_tamu.php of the component Guest Book. This manipulation of the argument nama/email/pesan causes cross site scripting. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been published and may be used. A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Guest Book component of Gedelumbung HospitalManagement, affecting versions through commit c2d45543789a3887067d3915f69d44cfc2cf76a8. The issue arises in the 'kirim' function of 'application/modules/web/controllers/buku_tamu.php', where user-supplied 'nama', 'email', and 'pesan' fields are inserted into the 'dlmbg_buku_tamu' database table without proper sanitization. This allows an attacker to submit malicious payloads, such as SVG images with JavaScript event handlers, which are executed in the context of an administrator's browser when the guest book is accessed. The vulnerability is exacerbated by the absence of the 'HttpOnly' flag on admin cookies, enabling session theft and potential account takeover.
