CVE-2026-101091 Details
Description
SiYuan versions before v3.8.4 fail to properly validate SQL statements in block query embed blocks executed against siyuan.db. Attackers can craft malicious .sy documents with non-read-only SQL statements that execute automatically during background indexing, rendering, or export operations without authentication.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in SiYuan versions prior to v3.8.4. The issue arises because the application fails to properly validate SQL statements embedded in block query documents. Attackers can create malicious .sy files containing non-read-only SQL commands that are executed automatically during background indexing, rendering, or export processes, without requiring authentication. The vulnerable SQL execution occurs on the 'siyuan.db' database, which is the main index database for the application.
Users should update to SiYuan version 3.8.4 or later, where this vulnerability has been patched.
