Description
In several functions of the RTCP packet decoder, there is a possible out-of-bounds read due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation.
A vulnerability has been identified in the Real-time Transport Control Protocol (RTCP) packet decoder within Google Android. This issue arises from several functions that lack proper bounds checks, leading to a potential out-of-bounds read. Exploitation of this vulnerability could result in remote information disclosure, with no additional execution privileges required. However, user interaction is necessary for exploitation.
Users can update their devices to the June 2026 security patch level to address this vulnerability.
