Description
In PostWipeData of recovery_ui.cpp, there is a possible data persistence issue after a factory reset due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A data persistence issue has been identified in the recovery user interface of Google Pixel devices, specifically within the PostWipeData function of recovery_ui.cpp. This vulnerability arises from a logic error, which can lead to local information disclosure after a factory reset. Exploitation of this issue does not require any additional execution privileges or user interaction.
Users can update their devices to the June 2026 security patch level to address this vulnerability.
