Description
A vulnerability was identified in 1000 Projects Sales Management System 1.0. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /superstore/admin/sales.php. The manipulation of the argument ssalescat leads to cross site scripting. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in version 1.0 of the 1000 Projects Sales Management System. The issue arises in the file '/superstore/admin/sales.php', where the 'ssalescat' parameter is manipulated, allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, without any authentication, by interacting with the affected parameter.
It is recommended to encode user input when outputting it to the web page, validate and filter user input to reject or escape malicious content, implement a Content Security Policy to restrict script sources, set secure and HttpOnly flags for sensitive cookies, and conduct regular security audits to identify and fix XSS vulnerabilities.
