Description
The Coupon API plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the ‘log_duration’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.2.12 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the Coupon API plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 6.2.9. The issue arises from inadequate escaping of user-supplied data in the 'log_duration' parameter, coupled with a lack of proper preparation in the SQL query. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with Administrator-level access to inject additional SQL commands into existing queries, potentially leading to the extraction of sensitive information from the database.
