Description
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in code-projects Church Donation System 1.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /members/update_password_admin.php. A critical SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in Code-Projects Church Donation System version 1.0. The issue resides in the file '/members/update_password_admin.php', where the 'new_password' parameter is manipulated to inject malicious SQL queries. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, without any authentication, allowing attackers to access, modify, or delete database information. The flaw stems from inadequate input validation, which fails to properly sanitize user-provided data before it is used in SQL commands.
It is recommended to implement prepared statements and parameter binding to prevent SQL injection, validate and filter user input, and limit database user permissions to the minimum required.
