Description
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Drupal Cookies Addons allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).This issue affects Cookies Addons: from 1.0.0 before 1.2.4.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the Drupal Cookies Addons module, affecting versions 1.0.0 prior to 1.2.4. The issue arises from improper input sanitization during web page generation, allowing malicious content to be injected and potentially executed. This vulnerability is particularly concerning when the Cookies Addons Embed Iframe submodule is enabled, as it could be exploited by users with the appropriate permissions to manipulate text fields that allow iframe usage.
Users are advised to upgrade to Drupal Cookies Addons version 1.2.4.
