Description
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in fuelthemes PeakShops peakshops allows Object Injection.This issue affects PeakShops: from n/a through <= 1.5.9.
A deserialization vulnerability allowing object injection has been identified in the WordPress PeakShops theme, specifically in versions through 1.5.9. This vulnerability arises from the improper handling of untrusted data, which could potentially be exploited to execute arbitrary code, inject malicious SQL, traverse file paths, cause denial-of-service conditions, and more, provided a suitable property-oriented programming chain is available.
Users are advised to update to a version of the PeakShops theme later than 1.5.9. For those using Patchstack, a mitigation rule is available to block attacks targeting this vulnerability.
