Description
An issue was discovered in function d_print_comp_inner in file cp-demangle.c in BinUtils 2.26 allows attackers to cause a denial of service via crafted PE file.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in Binutils version 2.26. The issue arises in the 'd_print_comp_inner' function within 'cp-demangle.c', where the software fails to properly handle certain Portable Executable (PE) files. This flaw allows attackers to craft PE files that, when processed by Binutils, cause the program to enter a stack overflow state, leading to a crash.
