Description
DNG SDK versions 1.7.0 and earlier are affected by an Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability that could lead to memory exposure or application denial of service. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information stored in memory. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability has been identified in the Adobe DNG Software Development Kit (SDK) versions 1.7.0 and earlier. This vulnerability could lead to memory exposure or application denial-of-service. An attacker could exploit this issue to disclose sensitive information stored in memory. The exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.
Users are advised to update to Adobe DNG SDK version 1.7.1 build 2140, available for Windows and macOS.
