A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in LZ4 versions through 1.10.0. This issue arises when the application processes untrusted LZ4 frames, leading to an application crash. The vulnerability is rooted in improper NULL pointer checks in the LZ4F_createCDict_advanced function within the lz4frame library.
Users can upgrade to LZ4 version 1.10.1 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
